Upon completion, King Salman International Complex, located in Ras Al-Khair, Saudi Arabia, will be one of the largest shipyards in the world. It will manufacture, maintain and repair commercial vessels, crude carriers and offshore rigs, and it will benefit from several facilities, including basins, a ship-lift system, warehouses, workshops, office buildings, worker living and recreational facilities, etc. It’s also known for reducing CO2 emissions generated from cement production by 30%.
We offered a lighting system for a ground-level heliport, providing high-quality products that comply with ICAO and FAA regulations:
- Precision Approach Path Indicator, APAPI – gives color cues to the pilots to maintain the correct approach slope to the FATO.
- Heliport Beacon – a powerful light, signaling the presence of a heliport
- Floodlights (20W)
- Wind Direction Indicator – gives a clear indication of the direction of the wind
- Heliport Controller V3 – powers, controls, and monitors the lighting circuits and guidance systems on the heliport
- Air-to-Ground Radio Controller – allows pilots to turn ON the ground lights on desired brightness level.
- Beacon Controller – powers and controls the heliport beacon.
