The Drobeta Turnu-Severin Emergency Hospital operates in three main medical specializations: surgical, medical and paraclinical. In emergency situations, time plays a crucial part in the patient’s survival chances. Therefore, our products help achieve a faster and safer landing and take-off, accelerating the preparations of the air ambulance team. For this project, we used the following:
- Inset TLOF – for lighting and beaconing
- Inset Heliport FATO – for lighting and beaconing
- Floodlight 60W – for lighting and beaconing
- Precision Approach Path Indicator – gives color cues to the pilots to maintain the correct approach slope to the FATO
- Visual Alignment Guidance System – depending on his position on the approach axis, the pilot will receive visual information (two flashes supplied by the two flashing units of the system)
- Heliport Beacon – a powerful, omnidirectional light, intended to signal the presence of a heliport
- Wind Direction Indicator – gives a clear indication of the direction of the wind and a general indication of the wind speed
- Heliport Controller V3 – has the purpose of powering, controlling, and monitoring the lighting circuits and guidance systems on the heliport
As always, Signalight‘s lighting systems comply with ICAO and FAA regulations, whilst also keeping in mind both infratructure and customer needs.
