Heliport in Russia close to Moscow

Heliport close to the forest in Moscow area

The helipad system is made of heliport perimeter lights for FATO/TLOF area and floodlights.

Guidance is made with approach lights for marking the direction of the landing. We used an external lighted wind cone to indicate the strength and direction of the wind.

In order to identify the heliport from a far distance, a heliport beacon was used. This strong light is signaling the letter H in Morse code using light signals.

The controller is protected into a small shelter.

This heliport is surrounded by three parking lots for helicopters. All parking areas are marked with taxi blue lights. The way to the parking area is also marked with taxi lights.
