From 7–9 October 2025, Signalight proudly joined aviation professionals from across the globe at Inter Airport Europe 2025 in Munich – the world’s leading exhibition for airport equipment, technology, design, and services.
This year’s 25th anniversary edition was bigger than ever, with over 400 exhibitors and visitors from more than 100 countries gathering under one roof at Messe Munich. The event once again proved to be the beating heart of airport innovation – and Signalight was right there in the middle of it all.
Over three inspiring days, we had the chance to meet partners, clients, and new connections from every corner of the aviation industry. Our stand became a hub for exciting conversations about the future of airport lighting and heliport lighting — and how smarter, more sustainable solutions can make aviation infrastructure safer and more efficient.
As we shared our latest obstruction lights and solar obstruction lights technologies, it was clear that the industry is moving fast towards greater automation, digital integration, and environmental responsibility. The discussions on AI, data, and sustainability resonated deeply with our mission: to combine innovation and reliability in lighting systems that keep aviation operations future-ready.
The atmosphere at Inter Airport Europe was buzzing with energy and forward-thinking ideas. Among the standout themes was the transformative role of artificial intelligence — not just as a trend, but as a key enabler for smarter, safer, and more sustainable airports.
We were particularly inspired by how technology and sustainability are now intertwined across the industry. From predictive maintenance tools to low-energy lighting systems — including advanced helipad lighting and portable helipad lighting solutions — it’s clear that innovation and environmental responsibility go hand in hand.
As the Event Director, Syreeta Tranfield, put it: “The airport industry convened to connect, learn and celebrate innovation — with excellent feedback from visitors and exhibitors.” And we couldn’t agree more.
