From 8–13 March 2026, Signalight was honored to join industry experts, architects, and technology integrators at Light + Building 2026 in Frankfurt am Main – the world’s leading trade fair for lighting and building services technology.
This year’s event brought together professionals from across the globe to discuss decarbonization, smart connectivity, and the changing demands of modern infrastructure. Positioned in Hall A22, Stand 4.1, our team was right at the center of these conversations, demonstrating how advanced lighting systems are defining the next generation of aviation safety.

Shaping the built future with advanced technology
The atmosphere in Frankfurt was defined by a drive toward sustainability and intelligent systems. The event’s core themes – Sustainable Transformation, Living Light and Smart Connectivity – align perfectly with our engineering philosophy at Signalight.
Over the course of six inspiring days, our stand became a vibrant hub for discussing the specific challenges of aviation infrastructure. We engaged with partners, clients, and new connections about integrating low-energy LED technologies and automated control systems into complex environments. It is clear that the industry is accelerating toward solutions that offer both environmental responsibility and uncompromised operational safety.
Key technologies on display
As manufacturers dedicated to performance and international compliance, we utilized the Light + Building platform to present our most reliable and efficient systems. Visitors to our stand had the opportunity to explore our specialized solutions:
- Airport lighting: High-performance runway, taxiway, and approach systems engineered to reduce energy consumption while maximizing visibility in all weather conditions.
- Heliport lighting products: Complete visual aid packages, including robust inset and elevated lights for FATO and TLOF zones, designed to meet strict ICAO standards for medical, corporate, and offshore helipads.
- Obstruction lights: Long-lasting, low-maintenance beacon systems essential for securing tall structures and ensuring safe airspace navigation around expanding urban and industrial areas.
- Portable lights: Rapidly deployable, battery-operated systems that guarantee reliable illumination for emergency response, temporary landing zones, and remote operations.

Highlights and industry insights
A major takeaway from the fair was the increasing importance of IoT and digital integration. Buildings and infrastructure are becoming intelligent, connected ecosystems.
In the aviation sector, this means moving beyond simple illumination. Through integrated controllers and smart monitoring, facility managers can now ensure predictive maintenance and real-time responsiveness. Our discussions confirmed a high demand for these scalable, future-ready systems that simplify complexity while elevating safety standards on the ground.
Thank you, Frankfurt!
To everyone who visited Hall A22, Stand 4.1 – thank you! We appreciate your interest, the engaging questions, and the shared vision for a safer, more efficient future. It was a pleasure to showcase our expertise and build partnerships that will drive innovation forward. We leave Frankfurt energized and highly motivated to continue developing solutions that meet the highest demands of the aviation sector.
