Strejnic Airfield

The Strejnic Airfield is an aviation school, located near Ploiesti in Romania. It has two runways, and it organizes air shows, aviation classes and parachuting.

Its lighting system contains the following products:

  • Vista Runway Edge – offers photometric performances matching 30% of the ICAO requirements for High-Intensity Lighting (equivalent to Brightness step 2, 3, and 4 of standard, High-Intensity CCR)
  • Vista Threshold – an elevated airfield light, frangible led light used to mark the threshold area of the runway of non-precision or non-instrument VFR airports.
  • Vista Runway End – offers photometric performances matching 30% of the ICAO requirements for High-Intensity Lighting (equivalent to Brightness step 4 of 5 steps constant current regulator)
  • Vista Taxiway – offers photometric performances matching the ICAO requirements for High-Intensity Lighting

This is a LED system of medium intensity – 30% brightness according to ICAO. It’s powered from CCR in 5 steps: 1, 3, 10, 50, 100%. This system is a replacement for the classic system with halogen lights. The consumption was reduced to 10% of the initial value, obtaining a 90% saving in energy consumption.

As always, Signalight‘s products are high-quality and comply with ICAO and FAA regulations, whilst also meeting the customer’s needs.
