Corfu Airport

Corfu (or Kerkyra) is an island in Greece and a tourist hot-spot, thanks to its rich history and historic monuments, charming architecture and gorgeous beaches. Lots of ruins of ancient Greek temples and medieval castles are scattered on this island, the city’s old town having been added to the UNESCO World Heritage List.

Corfu International Airport is located 3km south of Corfu town. Former WWII airport, used by German and Italian forces and with a runway of 2373m, Corfu Airport is now the 5th busiest airport in Greece. The biggest air traffic being in summer is proof of the rising popularity and beauty of the island, with more than 1.5 million air passengers landing in Corfu in 2019.
